Plan ahead and expect delays: Upcoming road work

Please be advised that a number of construction projects and special events are expected to cause road closures in the coming days.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Beginning Friday, June 15, intermittent single lane closures are scheduled in the northbound or southbound direction on South Main Street between West Eisenhower and Ann Arbor-Saline Road.
    • Two-way traffic will be maintained for the majority of the work with the use of a flagperson.
    • Access to side streets and driveways will remain available at all times.
    • The work is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.
  • Between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, June 15, Washington between Fifth and Division is expected to be closed for the Tech Trek special event.
  • On Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, intermittent lane closures in one or both directions of South Huron Parkway are scheduled between Washtenaw and Geddes.
    • After the first day of work, loose stones may be present on the roadway. Drivers are asked to use caution and use lower speeds when driving in the area.
    • Access to side streets and driveways will remain available at all times.
    • The work is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Beginning Sunday, June 17, intermittent single lane closures in one or both directions of North Maple between Dexter Ave. and M-14 are scheduled for a resurfacing project.
    • Access to side streets and driveways will remain available at all times.
    • The work is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. on Monday, June 18.
