Volunteer with a purpose: Have a blast at Caden’s Car Show

July 27, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Join other Michigan Medicine employees on Sunday, Aug. 12 by volunteering at the 5th annual Caden’s Car Show, hosted by the Congenital Heart Center and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

It will be a fun day of volunteerism with a purpose, hosted on the rooftop of the P3 parking structure and with activities in other locations across Mott. There is always an amazing array of automobiles, a fabulous group of drivers/owners and children’s smiles are something to behold.

Help honor the memory of Caden Bowles while following the goals of Team Caden: To use the magic of cars to create extraordinary experiences for sick children, increase awareness of the need for organ donation, and increase investment in congenital heart research and pediatric heart transplants.

There are volunteer opportunities for early risers or those who love to sleep late on the weekend. The greatest need is for clinical volunteers from across Michigan Medicine.

And don’t forget, there is another important fundraiser to help Team Caden on Saturday, Aug. 11. Check out the image to the right for details!
